Shannon Pulaski speaks with CURE magazine

After finding a tremendous need within the community of families with genetic mutations, Shannon Pulaski chose to offer others a resource tool to help with the difficult decisions revolving around these mutations.

She sat down with CURE Magazine to discuss Proactive Genes and its mission, and how these resources can help parents start the conversation with their children about their families’ health history.

“I want to do it in a way that’s not overwhelming,” she says. “Proactive Genes is going to be a resource for families to use so they can approach the conversation with their children in a way that makes sense, with concepts that they can understand.”
